Landscape Material Delivery Options

For Large Projects

Our largest trucks can hold approximately 12 yards of rock, sand, or gravel, which typically comes out to around 15 tons. These trucks also provide the capability to spread landscape materials such as gravels. Additionally, if you are ordering a lighter product, such as bark or compost, it can hold up to 20 yards.

For Mid-Size Projects

Our F-750 can hold approximately 6 yards or rock, sand, or gravel, which typically comes out to around 8 tons. This makes it a great option if you have tighter spaces, or if your property has overheads such as power lines or tree branches. That being said, clearance on this truck with the box up is still around 16 ft., so watch for overheads.

For Small Residential Needs

The Flatbed truck is the perfect option for Cheney or Medical Lake deliveries in town. Whether you just need a little extra landscaping material, or have a smaller DIY project you are working on. This truck can hold around 2 yards of rock, sand, or gravel, and about 3 yards of lighter materials such as bark or compost.

LANDSCAPE MATERIAL CALCULATOR

FAQ's About Landscape Materials

You’ll need either a pickup or a trailer to transport landscape materials. Generally, most products are sold by the ton, except for composts and barks. Once you arrive, pull onto the scale in front of our office. For your convenience, we’re a drive-up operation, and a sales associate will be ready to assist you. However, sales associates also operate the loaders, so please be patient if we’re helping other customers. After placing your order, we’ll weigh your vehicle and guide you for loading.

We’re here to help! First, measure the width and length of your project space in feet, then decide how deep you want the material to lay (in inches). Next, enter these dimensions into our material calculator above, which will provide the quantity needed in cubic yards. If you need to convert square feet into cubic yards, try this converter.

Keep in mind, cubic yards measure volume, while some products are sold by weight (tons). In general, multiply cubic yards by 1.4 for approximate tons. However, this will vary between individual products. Our sales associates are always available to help with exact conversions!

We deliver landscape materials across Spokane to Ritzville! Just give us a call or fill out the quote form, and we’ll arrange your bulk delivery. In order to provide an accurate delivery estimate, we’ll need your address, the product you’re interested in, and approximately how much material you need. Typically, the minimum delivery amount is around 1 yard or 1 ton of material. Once we have this information, we’ll give you a delivery quote.

Actual payload capacities may vary based on your vehicle’s make and model. For accurate information, check your GVW or weight rating sticker, especially for trailers and dump trucks.

When loading, we can place material into pick-up beds, trailers, and dump trucks. As a general rule, a 1/2-ton truck (150, 1500) can carry about 1/2 ton of material, while a 3/4-ton truck (250, 2500) can handle around 3/4 ton, and a 1-ton truck (350, 3500) can carry up to 1 ton.

For safety reasons, we can’t accept personal bins or totes. Their stability isn’t guaranteed, and lifting them could cause injuries. However, you’re welcome to bring standard 5-gallon buckets, which we will fill for a flat rate depending on the material category.

Please note, all materials must be shoveled or scooped into the bucket, or loaded by our equipment into a truck or trailer. We do not allow material to be shoveled into the back of a vehicle.
